The trailer opens with Santi asking Pryce about the career he left behind. Peter Dager’s character says, “Do you ever think what would happen if you kept playing?” That question starts the trailer’s story and leads Pryce back onto the golf course, where Clark watches.
- Clark’s pitch: Timothy Olyphant’s Clark tells Pryce they could create “the greatest comeback in sports history” by making him the oldest golfer ever to win the U.S. Open.
- Pryce commits: Owen Wilson’s Pryce hesitates, then tells Clark, “Let’s do it.”
- Amanda arrives: Rhea Seehorn’s Amanda is introduced as a swing coach Clark calls “the swing doctor.”
- Amanda’s reaction: She laughs when she hears Pryce’s plan, then realizes he is serious.
- Tournament warning: Amanda calls the U.S. Open the “hardest golf tournament” on the planet and tells Pryce, “We have to play to our strengths. However few they are.”
- Pryce explains why: When Amanda asks why he wants to return, Pryce says people always told him he had a gift, and he wants to know if they were right.
- Clark looks back: Clark says he “wept inside” when Pryce walked away from golf, then admits the wording is exaggerated.

The trailer also follows Santi’s professional golf push, where success now brings greater pressure. The footage balances those stakes with the fun, found-family tone from Season 1.
- Santi’s pressure: Apple says his talent is becoming expectation as he moves closer to the professional level.
- Mitts stays involved: Marc Maron’s Mitts remains Pryce’s caddy and says the comeback is a long shot, but not a stupid idea.
- Social-media joke: Pryce tells Santi he once saw himself called “the Amelia Earhart of golf. He took off with great expectations and suddenly disappeared over a water hazard.”
- Santi laughs: The moment keeps the trailer light as the comeback becomes more serious.
- Clark’s larger role: Olyphant is now a series regular, giving Clark more influence over Pryce’s story.
- New support team: Pryce has Clark pushing him, Amanda coaching him, and Mitts staying by his side.
- Trailer music: Deadline notes that Noah Kahan’s “Northern Attitude” plays near the end.
- Premiere tease: The trailer promotes the November 4, 2026 Apple TV premiere, with two episodes arriving first and the rest following weekly.
