Here it is, the moment we have been waiting for. With South by Southwest Festival a few months away, announcements have begun coming in. With it’s 30th year on the horizon, the first wave of announcements are here and one of which is their Opening Night film. The anticipated summer blockbuster, Paramount Pictures’ Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
The film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and stars Chris Pine, Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Regé-Jean Page,Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman and Daisy Head. “We are thrilled to announce the first wave of our incredible lineup for SXSW 2023,” said Claudette Godfrey, VP Film & TV. “It’s an amazing collection of films, TV series and XR experiences that promise to inspire, entertain and challenge our audiences. We’re also proud to open with Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, a raucous and engaging fantasy adventure, and look forward to welcoming everyone to Austin in March for what promises to be an unforgettable event.”
SXSW is one of the premier locations for premieres providing some of the best in cinema and television. This years festivals takes place Mar 10-19, 2023.
