What was your first Cosplay Experience?
My first cosplay experience was as a child for Halloween I got to cosplay Sakura from Card captors, made by my lovely mother. Then I got to attend my first convention called AC-Cubed 2003.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
I’ve been cosplaying for years but taking away the Halloween dress up’s I’ve been cosplaying since 2013 but went social media in January 2013.

Who or What inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
My mother inspired me to take up cosplaying. I personally think getting me in these pretty outfits was her way of making up for all the years I wouldn’t wear them. She is a wonderful seamstress. She’s taught me so much. Even though we don’t live in the same city anymore we are still making cosplays together.

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn or see someone else where, what would it be?
Favorite cosplay I’ve ever worn has to be my Tsubasa Chronicles Sakura I wore this in my teens and it’s my personal favorite. The cosplay I’m in love with and would love to do is Tali from Mass Effect. That cosplay is just so beautiful I’m very jealous of every cosplayer.

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
If I had unlimited funds and resources I’d have to say Tali from Mass Effect or at the moment I’d love to start Angewomon from Digimon.

What advice would you offer others who are aspiring Cosplayers?
The advice I would offer to anyone that is thinking about cosplay is to just do it. Cosplayers are the most fun, creative and open minded people around. Crafting, fabricating, modeling or just playing with make-up are all wonderful hobbies that can get you into cosplay.

At an early age I knew I loved two things more than anything else Comic Books and Video Games and no matter how hard my parents tried they couldn't keep me away from the capes and pixels. Now that I have a wife and child of my own I can't wait to share these vast worlds and experiences with them and hopefully you! With GWW I created and become editor of the comics section, which has now become the websites most popular area and features daily post with unique Comic editorials, reviews and previews. Along with Will Elizondo we started the GWW Capes Crew podcast. A weekly show dedicated to to all things Comics, Superheros and Sequential Art. After a year of creating content for GWW I was made its Editor in Chief. I love everything I do and can't think of a better way to spend my time than to spread every form of geekery to every corner of the globe. Comics will all be my passion though and were my heart lies.
