The role of Kate Bishop in the much-anticipated Hawkeye on Disney+ has finally been filled by Hailee Steinfeld according to Murphy’s Multiverse. Fan footage puts her on set accompanied by none other than the Pizza Dog himself, Lucky.
The series will follow Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, mentoring Kate Bishop. It will also seemingly include some of the Fraction’s arc, which brought us fan-favorite Pizza Dog. This news is thrilling fans across social media and is sure to make a couple of those that hoped for this yesterday on our Discord server incredibly happy.
Steinfeld was previously offered the role but wasn’t confirmed due to scheduling conflicts. The push back of production has seemingly enabled her to don the suit after all.

Variety has announced even more of the cast to include:
Vera Farmiga will take on the role of Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother.
Florence Pugh is set to play Yelena Belova (more on that here).
New to the scene Alaqua Cox playing Maya Lopez the real name of Echo.
Zahn McClarnon will play William Lopez father to Maya known as Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln in the comics.
Fra Fee’s character is named Kazi, which is alluded to be the infamous Clown, Kazimierz Kazimierczak.
Tony Dalton takes on the part of Jack Duquesne, the sometimes-good guy but often goes awry – Swordsman.
What Our Discord is Saying
It’s interesting how many elements of the show are Clints story but I feel Halee is the star and I felt the series was a passing of the torch when I initially heard about it… Phase 5 onward always felt like a changing of the guard to me.

I could see Kate taking the more prominent role in the series, while Clint keeps showing up in the movies. I wouldn’t expect her to replace him in movies anytime soon… Agree that they’re pushing a new team, I just don’t see it being a Young Avengers team yet. Just at first.

I hope not we are not quite ready for a young avenger movie yet.

I think a break will be good in the long run. It was the perfect time for it too, after Endgame.
