Netflix’s ‘The Dragon Prince’ Season 2 has already been given a date announcement. Via their Twitter account: February 15th, 2019.
Season 1 premiered on September 14, 2018, marking only a five month gap between seasons. However, it is currently unknown how many episodes the second season will be. Although, it is safe to assume it will be at least 7 episodes like the first season.

‘The Dragon Prince’ was created by head writer of ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Aaron Ehasz, and ‘Uncharted 3’ co-director Justin Richmond.
