Today, Collider reports Magnificent Seven and The Equalizer 2 screenwriter Richard Wenk has been hired by Sony Pictures to pen Spider-Man spin-off film Kraven the Hunter, the classic Russian big-game hunter villain.
There seems to be plans by Sony to focus on anti-heroes. Other Spidey spin-off films in development include Jared Leto’s Morbius set to film this November, Spike Lee’s Nightwatch, and Silver and Black which is now delayed.
Tom Hardy’s Venom is set for release on October 5th.
Kraven the Hunter has no set release date
