The acclaimed character has seen a resurgence of late in 2022 and the premiere on Saturday as cemented Del Toro’s Pinocchio as one of 2022 most anticipated releases. The Pinocchio 2022 cast walked the red carpet with there little friend in hand in some cases.

Pinocchio has seen a resurgence of late in 2022. With Netflix Pinocchio 2022 being the second adaption of the classic story. Disney released a live-action Pinocchio this year on Disney plus.
Pinocchio the character is part of the pubic domain, meaning that anyone or any studio can produce a Pinocchio movie, and even change it. This year we saw the release of another public domain character when Winnie the Pooh was adapted into a horror movie.
