Tom Holland Reveals ‘Homecoming’ Sequel Is Titled ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ – Confirms European Setting?

Jun 24, 2018

Tom Holland as seemingly “leaked” the official title of the Spider-Man sequel while posting a video on Instagram revealing it would be called Spider-Man: Far From Home.

This does seem to confirm the European setting we had been reporting for months along with without outlets. A while back ourselves and ThatHashtagShow revealed that the shooting locales for the sequel would include London, Prague, Venice, and New York City.

Far From Home is expected to begin filming in July and will wrap in late December.

Sorry for no announcements, but I love you guys ♥️

Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly in talks to play Spidey villain and criminal illusionist Quentin Beck aka Mysterio. It’s also expected that Michael Keaton’s Vulture could make a return.

There are also rumblings of an Avenger appearing in the film and if this takes place after the events of Avengers 4 as Kevin Feige has suggested, as it will be the first film in Phase Four, we suspect fellow NYC resident and magic expert Doctor Strange is a good bet to make.

Sony and Marvel have set the film’s release date for July 5th, 2019.
