‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Will Indeed Have Oscar-Winning Cinematographer Claudio Miranda

Last week, it was revealed that Tom Cruise has begun shooting Top Gun: Maverick slightly earlier than expected.

And we pointed out on Twitter that there was a good chance Joseph Krasinski’s cinematographer Claudio Miranda would be working on the film.

Well, we now hear Miranda is indeed working on the film. He won an Oscar for Life of Pi and his other credits inlcude Only The Brave, Oblivion, and Tron: Legacy.

Omega Underground previously revealed that Zero Dark Thirty production designer Jeremy Hindle would be designing the look of the sequel.

Paramount has set the release date for July 12th, 2019.
