UPDATE: Netflix’s ‘Locke and Key’ Eyes January Start In Toronto/Nova Scotia As Crew Is Assembled

It was recently announced that Netflix has taken the reins on Andy Muschietti‘s Locke and Key series after the pilot was originally passed on.

Now, we’ve learned that filming is said start sometime next January in Toronto and Nova Scotia.

It was announced that the horror series will star Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, who played Georgie in IT.

We’ve also learned that IT: Chapter 2 cinematographer Checco Varese , Preacher/Justified production designer David Blass, and Penny Dreadful composer Abel Korzeniowski will work on an undisclosed amount of episodes.

It’s expected the series could drop on Netflix by next fall.
