Tim Miller’s soft-reboot of the Terminator franchise (removing films after T2 from canon) will begin shooting in a couple of months with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton starring.

We’ve been tipped off that the production has been location scouting in Spain for some time now and they are indeed planning on filming there as we previously reported.

There is an expectation that stage work could take place at ORIGO Film Studios in Budapest, Hungary. Their stages were used for Blade Runner 2049, Spectral, and Atomic Blonde.

Prometheus’ Sonja Klaus will tackle the film’s production design. Deadpool’s Philip J Silvera and Justice League’s Freddy Bouciegues will be the film’s stunt coordinators.

The script recently underwent final polishes from Captain Phillip’s Billy Ray.

Paramount has slated the film’s release for July 26th, 2019.
