Zombieland 2 is finally coming together with Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin expected to return to their roles for the sequel along with director Ruben Fleischer.

We’ve now learned that Sony hopes to get cameras rolling on January 28th.

It’s return to Atlanta has been confirmed and we also believe it’ll shoot some scenes in the state of Tennessee as well.

Here is also what to expect in the sequel as we have some plot details to share as well.

The group will face a new zombie threat as a new breed of zombie has developed. This new super-zombie type is faster, bigger, and stronger than the previous strain of zombies and harder to kill. These super-zombies have started grouping up into a horde going from city to city leaving a path of destruction behind them.

Harrelson’s WWII epic Midway is expected to wrap filming around December 12th.

Sony has already set the release date for Zombieland 2 on October 11th, 2019.
