Feb 13, 2019

Deadline was the first to report that Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad movie will first debut on Netflix, then premiere on AMC afterwards. AMC aired the Emmy-winning ‘Breaking Bad’ series. They are currently airing the prequel series ‘Better Call Saul,’ which will have its fifth season this year.

The story follows the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom. That man is Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman, and the film takes place after the ‘Breaking Bad’ series finale.

Vince Gilligan serves as both writer and director of the film, which is under the working title of ‘Greenbrier.’ Filming should be wrapping up very soon.

We also covered the leaked list of actors that will appear in the film, many of which ‘Breaking Bad’ fans will recognize.

There is no release date for the film, but it will very likely release this year.
