Zack Snyder’s ‘Army of the Dead’ Adds Theo Rossi, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera & Huma Qureshi to Cast

Zack Snyder’s ‘Army of the Dead’ now has four new cast members joining Dave Bautista (‘Blade Runner 2049,’ ‘Avengers: Infinity War’).

The new cast members are below:

  • Ella Purnell (‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,’ ‘Sweetbitter’)
  • Ana de la Reguera (‘Power,’ ‘Goliath’)
  • Theo Rossi (‘Sons of Anarchy,’ ‘Luke Cage’)
  • Huma Qureshi (‘Gangs of Wasseypur,’ ‘Kaala’)

The premise of the zombie-thriller is below:

“The adventure is set amid a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, during which a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

Moreover, Snyder (‘Watchmen,’ ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’) will direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Shay Hatten (‘John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum’).

Filming will begin July 15th in New Mexico. Other locations could include Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

‘Army of the Dead’ will release on Netflix, but there is no date as of now.
