Born in Boston MA, raised in NH. Fully functioning adult who happens to read any and every comic under the (yellow)sun. Of course there are the favorite comics I must read when they're released, but any comic is fair game in my eyes. Of course my love for pop culture doesn't end with comics, but branches out to movies, toys, video games and most importantly Dungeons and Dragons (which I withheld this last hobby from my Fiancée until she said "Yes").
Point of Origin for my nerdy condition may have been in '93 when I got slimed at Nickelodeon(now closed), and a teenage accident or two(collapsed lungs) landing me in the hospital around the same time the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies started coming out. When my dad stopped at the local comic store and brought me the essential comics for Spiderman and the X-Men, I stood no chance. (Which also created a secret aspiration to start a fundraiser of sorts to bring comic books to kids in hospitals to keep their spirits up(nothing has come of this to date)) Add in a heavy dose of trip to Disney World, upcoming Disney themed wedding and a career aspiration to become a Disney Imagineer, I think it's safe to say I never want to grow up.

The next wave of comics I want to see from “DISNEY KINGDOMS”
Over the past few year, starting with Figment (from Journey into Imagination) then moving onto Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and now finally The Haunted Mansion, fans of Disney Parks have had a lot to get excited about with these mini-series’ exploring the expanded history behind the stories of Disney’s most popular attractions. Added to this list… Continue reading The next wave of comics I want to see from “DISNEY KINGDOMS”
“CASTLE ASSAULT” The Battle Card Game you need to play!
Momentum Volsk Castle Assault is a very entertaining take on the “Tower Defense/Attack” game style. Most deck based card games can drag on for hours while each player tries to play some massive mental mind game with each other, holding their best card until it’s just right and nearly hours later. That isn’t the case here… Continue reading “CASTLE ASSAULT” The Battle Card Game you need to play!

(My) PAX East Experience
Penny Arcade Expo East 2016, was held this past weekend (April 22-24) in Boston Ma. And this is just my impression of the event, asking the rhetorical question, “Is PAX for you?” Selling out very quickly, PAX is a very sought after event for its celebration of games and gamers with various halls showcasing upcoming… Continue reading (My) PAX East Experience

Spiral (Part One of Four) Krakenprint Written by: Magnus Aspli Art and colors by: Emerson Dimaya Design and lettering by: Nic Shaw I found this comic on Kickstarter, which of late has become my new stomping ground for finding indie and self-published comics. FIGHTING OVER LAND, SEA AND FINANCES! A “GI JOE:DEVIATIONS” (REVIEW)
GI Joe: Deviations IDW Writer: Paul Allor Artist: Corey Lewis As is read during the post-comic essay, this comic is a goofy love letter to the GI Joe franchise. For a moment, just think back to all the advanced tech Cobra has used; weather machines, lasers and earthquake doomsday devices, just to name a few. Every… Continue reading FIGHTING OVER LAND, SEA AND FINANCES! A “GI JOE:DEVIATIONS” (REVIEW)
