Ron Permlan and T.I. Harris Join Milla Jovovich’s ‘Monster Hunter’ Movie

It looks like Milla Jovovich won’t only be acting against CGI monsters in her latest action film which is based on the Capcom video game franchise Monster Hunter.

THR has learned that Hellboy actor Ron Perlman (Blade II, Pacific Rim) and T.I. Harris (Ant-Man) have joined the slowly growing cast of the video game flick. Perlman will play the team’s leader and Harris will be playing Link, a sniper (we’ve previously posted audition tapes for the role).┬áJovovich is said to be playing a character named Artemis.

Filming will begin next month in Cape Town, South Africa.

We previously reported it’s expected to wrap on December 12th.

Sony’s Screen Gems will be releasing the film but a date has yet to be announced.
