UPDATE: Michael B. Jordan’s Vampire Movie ‘Blood Brothers’ Shoots December-January

Sep 9, 2018

A while back, TrackingBoard revealed that Michael B. Jordan was in tals to play the lead role of Tree in MGM’s adaptation of Blood Brothers, a vampire comic book from Dark Horse.

Nick and Tree have smoked opium with Genghis Khan, had orgies in Michelangelo’s studio, and even fronted a death metal band. But after a century of friendship, these inseparable vampire buddies are on the verge of splitting up. Terrible timing, as an apocalypse-obsessed villain is plotting an end to humanity.

Omega Underground recently revealed Rza is set to write-direct with filming expected to begin on December 1st in Pittsburgh.

We’ve now learned it’s planning on wrapping production on January 31st.

We also mentioned that they’ve already hired Cut Throat City and Escape Plan 2: Hades cinematographer Brandon Box for the comic book film.

Jordan has yet to be confirmed but he’ll wrap on his drama Just Mercy co-starring Brie Larson on October 25th giving him a slight opening in his schedule.

MGM has yet to give the film a release date.
