Actress Yvette Monreal has been cast as kidnap victim Gabrielle in Sly Stallone’s Rambo 5 according to THR, the crux of the film and why Rambo goes after a violent sex trafficking cartel.
She joins recent addition Paz Vega, who plays co-lead Carmen Delgado. A reporter and ex-soldier, who helps Rambo to take down the cartel.
The report again confirmed our character details naming Gabrielle and her potential kidnapping.
They also reaffirm our separate production reports that filming would be taking place in Spain and Bulgaria.
Yvette Monreal will star in the fifth installment of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo franchise.
Rambo 5: Last Blood, which has begun production in Bulgaria and Spain, sees Vietnam vet John Rambo take on the Mexican drug cartels after they kidnap his friend’s daughter, Gabrielle (Monreal).
The next two roles to be cast we are expecting next are Victor and Hugo, the two brothers that head-up the sex trafficking business.
As Omega Underground exclusively reported first, Get The Gringo and Narcos director Adrian Grunberg is helming the film.
Rambo 5: Last Blood has yet to be given a release date.
