With MC3 less than two months away, we’ve been getting several announcements of more celebrity guests. If Motor City Comic Con is new to you, they get guests from many different genres. Many of the guests will have opportunities to get autographs and photo ops. This year’s growing list is getting very exciting. Some of the newest guests to be announced include:
Carey Jones – Carey Jones is a Make Up and Special Effects supervisor for shows such as Watchmen, Legion and The Walking Dead. He is also the actor behind the mask in 2010’s Predators as the Tracker Predator and, more recently, as Black Krrsantan in The Book of Boba Fett. He will be appearing all three days.
Freddie Prinze Jr. – Appearing in films for now 25 years, Freddie Prinze Jr. has been in several movie franchises as well as notable TV series. With films like She’s All That, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and both Scooby-Doo live action releases, he has a prime following on the big screen. On the small screen, he’s had recurring roles on shows like 24, Star Wars Rebels and Boston Legal along with the revival of Punky Brewster. Saturday and Sunday he will be appearing at the con.
Curran Walters – Curran Walters is a current actor and former model. He is currently appearing in the DC Series Titans as Jason Todd. He has also appeared in shows like Girl Meets World, Game of Silence and Too Close to Home. Curran will be appearing limited hours on Friday, all day Saturday, and limited morning hours on Sunday.
Alicia Silverstone – An actress for almost 30 years, Alicia Silverstone has been been in multiple projects. Most famously, her early work came in the form of starring in Aerosmith’s videos for Cryin’, Amazing, and Crazy. Movie credits to her name include Blast from the Past, Crush, Excess Baggage along with her notable roles as Cher Horowitz in Clueless and Barbara Wilson/Batgirl in Batman & Robin. She will be appearing both Saturday and Sunday.
Many more guests are being announced throughout the coming weeks. We’ve already seen announcement for the Christopher Reeve Legacy Reunion (starring several stars from the original four movies), William Shatner, Alan Ritchson and Christopher Eccleston.
